10:30 a.m.: Smoking a joint with my earbuds plugged into my ears and my music blaring full blast. I’ve got Robert Palmer’s “Addicted To Love” going right now. Remember that 80’s hottie? I always had a mad crush on him. He just dresses so fucking nice. I adore a man in a suit. And I love cologne. Those are my two weaknesses. They can make the ugliest man hot. For real.
My dad called me this morning while he was walking his dog and we got a good half hour conversation in. I really miss him. He lives in Kansas and I don’ get to see him often. I’m saving up to visit him though. I’ve never been to Kansas so I’d love to. It’s my goal to visit all 50 states and all 7 continents. I’ve been to 7 states and one continent so far. I love to travel. But I really do miss my dad a lot. My mom died last year and he’s t he only parent I have left so I’m a lot more attached to him than I was before my mom, in fear of me losing him too. He’s an amazing father and I know he loves me a lot. He’s never given up on me, even when I deserved it. My mom was the same way. Both are amazing people with hearts of gold. I miss my mom sssooo much. We were super close and my heart still hurts for her so much.
The heat and the humidity here is so fucking awful. Stepping outside, even for a few minutes, is a nightmare. I desperately miss Spring and Fall. I despise Summer and Winter is not too bad. It’s just Summer. I am not a very Tropical person.
